Information on the processing of personal data under the GDPR

1. Who processes your data

  1. The telephone number is mandatory. Without it we cannot reach you about a change or a delay and cannot accept the booking.
  2. We do not pass data to third parties for marketing, and we carry out no automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Who we share data with

  1. We share data only to the extent necessary to handle the booking:
    1. The driver carrying out the ride — name, telephone number, pick-up and destination address, time and number of passengers.
    2. Technical service providers who operate our website, booking system and e-mail communication on our behalf. These are processors established in the European Union or the United States, with whom we have data processing agreements and who are bound by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
    3. Our accountant and tax adviser, to the extent needed for bookkeeping.
  2. We do not publish or sell data.

4. Flight tracking

  1. If you provide a flight number with your booking, we check its current status with a flight data provider so we can match the pick-up time to the actual landing time.
  2. We send the provider the flight number and date only. Your name, telephone number and other details are not shared.

5. Your rights

  1. You have the right:
    1. to access your data and obtain a copy,
    2. to rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data,
    3. to erasure, where the data are no longer needed and no legal retention obligation applies,
    4. to restriction of processing,
    5. to portability of the data you provided to us,
    6. to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  2. Exercise your rights at taksi@taksi.sk. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
  3. If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

6. Cookies and analytics

  1. taksi.sk uses strictly necessary cookies that make the site work.
  2. We measure traffic with Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.). It stores statistical cookies and processes usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type); IP addresses are processed in truncated form. We do not use the data for advertising.
  3. You can block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may then not work correctly.

7. Changes to this policy

  1. We may update this policy if the way we process data changes or if legislation changes. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date.
